The P.R.A.I.S.E.
Team of Christ’s Church for Our Community began singing together in January of 2000 at the genesis of Christ’s
Church for Our Community in Louisville, KY. P.R.A.I.S.E. is an acronym for People Renewed
And Inspired Sharing Encouragement, under the leadership
of Minister Tierra Watkins. This ensemble champions the cause of participatory
worship and praise by utilizing a unique style that captivates the hearts of burdened men, women and children to move from
gloom to glory.
The P.R.A.I.S.E.
Team blends 1950’s “doo-wop,” Caribbean calypso, with gospel tinged praise and worship and street
hip hop into a slick a cappella package resulting in one of the most refreshing, highly energized presentations of the “good
news” to come along in some time.
The P.R.A.I.S.E. Team
has released its first recording entitled, “Christ’s Church for Our Community presents, The P.R.A.I.S.E.. Team - Reaching Up, Reaching In, Reaching Out.” They are called upon often to perform for numerous functions locally and out of state,
