  • MIN. James Nathan HOLLINGSWORTH

    Nate is married to Tracy Samuels Hollingsworth and they have four wonderful children: Khrysin Michalski (married to Charlie and two grandchildren Charlotte and Cooper), Roman, Teanna and Auburn  He has been preaching for nearly 37 years and has been an Associate Minister at Christ’s Church For Our Community since its beginning in January of 2000. 


    He has a Bachelor’s degree from Heritage Christian University, a Master’s in Learning Behaviors and Disorders from Spalding University, and an Education Specialist Degree from Liberty University.


    Nate taught at schools in Georgia, but has spent the last 15 years with Jefferson County Public Schools (Shawnee High School, Frost Middle School) and has taught the last seven years at Kammerer Middle School working with students with multiple disabilities. At Kammerer, he also serves as the Department Chair for the ECE (Exceptional Child Education) Department, leads the Black Student Union, and is one of the FCA Sponsors. 


    Nate loves football and baseball, and is a huge Auburn University fan. He was the head baseball coach for Shawnee High School for four years and currently coaches baseball at North Oldham High School.  Nate enjoys sharing God’s Word, family, and sports, and will prayerfully be an administrator in the near future. Nate says that he is truly blessed by God and that he is just a man with a message from the Master. 







  • dr. David Miller


    The second of four children born to Rev. Dr. James E. Miller pastor emeritus  Lampton Baptist Church, Lou, Ky and Dr. Doris F. Miller former retired principal Stephen Foster Traditional Academy. He's married to fashion creator and minority business owner Michelle Miller and has five adult children and two beautiful grandchildren.

  • Min. Tierra watkins


    Tierra is married to Deborah A. Watkins, Ph.D., and is the father of one son, Cartier.  He works in Law Enforcement and has for over 25 years, between Kentucky and Texas.  Presently, he serves as one of the associate ministers of Christ's Church for Our Community as well as Worship Leader.


    He has led musical groups in Kentucky, Texas, and Minnesota, and has been singing since age. 11.  He formerly was a Benson Music Group recording artist with Christian group Straight Company where he traveled around the world singing praises and ministering to the people.


    Brother Tee as he is called, graduated from Augsburg University in Minneaplis, MN., with a BA in Communications.  He has a passion for youth and has created a program called project Choices which deals with alcohol and drug prevention.  He also produced a musical project for children called Edmusication, an early childhood learning tool that has grown quite popular around the country.

    STEVEN L. JENKINS

    Steve is President of Consulting Dimensions, LLC and an active member of Christ's Church for Our Community as director of children and youth ministry, and teacher.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master of Arts in Social Services from Almeda University.  


    Steven has served in a variety of leadership roles since 1988, achieving the position of President/CEO of Greater Stark County Urban League, and serving as Executive Director, Chief Administrative Officer for a marketing company.  Along with his leadership roles, he serves on the Louisville Restorative Justice Council, and past President of the Arts Council of Louisville, as well as volunteer for Churchill Downs Host program for over 20 years.  Steven was named in Manchester Who's Who of Professional Management (2004-2005).  


    He has one daughter and two grandsons.




  • ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, SUSAN E. JENKINS

    Susan has served as the Administrative Assistant for Christ's Church for Our Community since 2007.  In addition, she serves on the Usher Ministry and Finance Ministry.  She is actively involved in the Central District Baptist Association Church Secretaries and Admin Ministry, and serves as Secretary for a faith-based non-profit organization.  


    She is married to Sean Jenkins since 1998 and the mother of two children, Carlton and Jordyn.  Susan has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration both from the University of Louisville (UofL), and currently works at UofL as the Assistant to the Vice President for Community Engagement.  


    In November of 2020, with a desire to expand the reach of her spiritual gifts: Administration, Giving, and Service, Susan launched Assist With Excellence (AWE), LLC, a virtual assistant business providing services to non-profits, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.
